I have been meaning to make bread for a long long time now, but something has always come up. Well, finally, with a help of my mum, we finally did. Our own bread from scratch. Surprisingly the process was not as hard as I anticipated, it is actually really easy once you have a bread starter. Considering it being our first attempt, it came out pretty good, I thought. Even Kaspar loved it! As it is also Estonia’s 96th birthday today I wish to all my Estonian family and friends Happy Birthday. And there is no better way to celebrate the special day than having traditional dark rye bread on the table. Enjoy everyone!
